“A Day in the Life” with: Calgary Documentary Filmmaker Dominique Keller

A documentary filmmaker with over 20 years of experience in the biz, Dominique Keller is most comfortable travelling to remote locations and spending quality time with strangers. Dominique loves to meet unique people, get to know them and tell their stories. Dominique recently completed the NFB feature documentary Love: The Last Chapter a film that found her living in a Calgary Senior’s residence for over a month. The film is a moving look at how connection and intimacy help people through the hardships of declining health and mobility.

When she’s not hanging out in senior residences, Dominique Keller loves to mountain bike, rock climb and weight lift. Come to MNP any weekday morning and you may be asked to give her a spot. Her recent documentary series Horse Warriors is inspired by her fascination with extreme sports and the athletes who put everything on the line to be the best in their field. Currently, Dominique travels around Alberta and Montana filming with some of the country’s top indigenous relay racers for her new APTN documentary series, Horse Warriors.
