Impress your guests with this creamy Brie cheese and Blackberry Galette, a stunning appetizer that’s perfect for any gathering. The flaky, golden crust encases rich Ontario Brie, harmonizing beautifully with the sweet-tart blackberries and flaky sea salt for a delightful flavour combination.
Blackberry and Brie Galette
Ingredients:
- Store bought pastry dough
- 8 oz local Ontario brie cheese
- 1 pint fresh blackberries
- Drizzle maple syrup
- Drizzle balsamic glaze
- Pinch flaky sea salt
- 2 sprigs rosemary, fresh
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Roll out prepared pastry dough.
- Place slices of Ontario brie cheese in the centre of the pastry dough.
- Scatter the fresh blackberries over the brie cheese.
- Drizzle with maple syrup and balsamic glaze.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and add the rosemary sprigs on top.
- Fold the edges of the pastry dough over the filling to create a parcel. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and crispy. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
