I’m Farrah, and I’m a big, sweet girl with phenomenal cuddle skills. I’m lonely here in this kennel all by myself, so I’m looking for my very own humans that I can lean on, love on, and maybe drool on (sorry; I do it because I’m happy!). I’ve been described by shelter staff as an affectionate, calm, and gentle giant who loves to take leisurely strolls on leash and investigate the world with my nose. I’m a snuffle mat champion and really good at sniffing things out; maybe we could do more formal scent work together when you adopt me! Although I enjoy calm walks, I am still a large, strong girl with my fair share of energy! My perfect family should be comfortable handling a strong dog on leash, and be ready to take me on lots of fun walks and outdoor adventures. I wouldn’t want to hurt any little ones due to my size, so a family of teenagers and adults is a better fit for me. You should also know that I don’t have perfect sharing skills, but the adoption staff have lots of information to provide about how to help me work on this. Other animals like dogs and cats also make me very uncomfortable, so I am looking to be the only pet in your home. Don’t worry though, I have so much love to give I could win an award!! Guarantee your new year will be full of cuddles – make an appointment and tell the shelter staff Farrah sent you!
