Five Minutes With: RnB/Soul Musician Tissa Rahim

Tissa Rahim, the Persian Powerhouse, is a West Coast musician with a 40-city North American tour under her belt. Winner of “Best RnB/Soul Recording of the Year” at the YYC music awards 2023, Tissa infuses her RnB/Soul sound with Persian music, singing in both English and Farsi with a band or solo. In 2024, Tissa performed at New Skool Rules in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in Mexico, and in New York. She also spent a significant time in Los Angeles, writing original music both for herself and other artists and performing on average once a week. Recently, Tissa’s music video Not Once but Twice (ps752) was selected to be screened at the Toronto International Music Video Festival.
