REAL Biz Moms is an organization that aims to help women to redefine motherhood. They believe that there is more than one way of being a ‘good’ mother, and intend to integrate motherhood with women’s careers. They build a community where all mothers are appreciated, valued and supported through storytelling, sharing knowledge and experiences.
REAL Biz Moms believe that every mother is of value and has something to bring to the table. They are committed to creating an environment of inclusion and welcome ALL who identify as a mother regardless of age, race/ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation or physical ability.

Describe your charity/non-profit in a few sentences
REAL Biz Moms is a community devoted to equipping moms with the confidence and support they need to live their dreams on their own terms.
What problem does it aim to solve?
Mothers feeling torn between having to choose between their family or their career
When did you start/join it?
Started it in 2019
What made you want to get involved?
To empower mothers to reach their truest potential and to pursue their passions
What was the situation like when you started?
Mothers believing that they have to sacrifice themselves and be completely selfless down to the point where they are depressed and barely surviving.
How has it changed since?
Mothers now see that it is possible and that they have the support that they need to make it happen
What more needs to be done?
More opportunities for mothers to get the help and support that they need
