What if your self-care routine actually felt good? Rituality Box founder Annie Anderson has spent years answering that question, building a wellness box brand rooted in intentional living, Canadian-made products, and the quiet power of everyday ritual.

What is your business called and what does it do?
My business is called Rituality Box. I offer curated and customizable wellness boxes designed to help people slow down and reconnect with themselves through meaningful everyday rituals.
Each box is intentionally assembled with exclusively Canadian-made natural products, ranging from herbal tea, aromatherapy, and healthy snacks to a variety of selected self-care and functional wellness essentials — all created for an experience that feels grounding and restorative.
In addition, gift boxes are offered for special occasions and corporate gifting for employee appreciation, client gifts, and workplace well-being. Every box is designed to feel thoughtful and meaningful to the recipient.
What made you want to do this work? What problem did you want to solve with the business?
I have a passionate belief that self-care should feel accessible and not overwhelming or performative. I wanted to put together something purposeful that supports people, especially during seasons where stress, burnout, or emotional exhaustion makes it harder to prioritize ourselves.
I’ve always believed that small rituals can have a powerful impact on how we feel mentally and emotionally, and I wanted to build a brand centred around that experience.
Who are your clientele/demographics?
My customers are wellness-conscious individuals who value intentional living and mindful self-care. Many are busy professionals, caregivers, entrepreneurs, or thoughtful gift-givers looking for natural wellness products that are locally made and unique, rather than generic.
How does your business make money? How does it work?
Rituality Box operates through online sales across Canada, offering wellness boxes available as a one-time purchase or as a prepaid box collection (three boxes) released during the winter, spring and fall season, conveniently delivered to doorstep. Every box offers something new and inspiring, creating a sense of anticipation and delight!
Where in the city can we find your profession?
Rituality Box has a website presence, while also participating as a vendor at select local artisan markets throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.

What is the best question a prospective customer could ask a member of your profession when comparing services?
“What makes your wellness box concept different from other businesses like this?”
I focus on intentional wellness, not just beauty and aesthetics. Every box content is curated to support real well-being from within — whether that’s helping someone slow down, recharge mentally, nourish their body, or feel more grounded during stressful seasons of life. I want the ritual box experience to feel meaningful and supportive.
What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?
It’s deeply rewarding to hear from customers about their experience of trying out a wellness box. It reinforces that the purpose goes beyond the products themselves and that it’s really about the shift in how someone feels after using them.
The hardest part is wanting to do everything all at once when you care deeply about quality and the customer experience — especially as a growing small business!
What is your favourite joke about your own profession?
My favourite joke is that “I’m not procrastinating… I’m just researching the perfect state of relaxation.” Funny enough, that’s also kind of the job!

It was pretty cool that the news media did an interview showcasing my business in December of 2025. If you’re interested to take a look at the article that they published, just Google CTV News Calgary_Rituality Box and it should pop up.
PAY IT FORWARD: What is another local business that you love?
One local business I admire is Digital Post. They are known in Calgary for high-quality design and print services that help individuals and businesses bring their ideas to life. What stands out is their versatility and commitment to making every project feel intentional and well-executed. I have used their services plenty of times, and the staff at their 130th Ave location are amazing!
