Daria Jacota is the Calgary artist and entrepreneur behind Allforjesusart, a creative studio dedicated to producing Scripture-inspired watercolour artwork and faith-based products. As founder and sole creator, Jacota designs and sells original hand-painted pieces along with beautifully crafted items such as bookmarks, greeting cards, journals, stickers, and prints—all intended to bring hope and encouragement into everyday life.

What is your business called and what does it do?
My business is called Allforjesusart. I create and sell hand-painted watercolour artwork and faith-based products such as bookmarks, cards, journals, stickers, prints and lots more. Each piece is inspired by Scripture, nature, and the desire to share hope, encouragement, and the love of Jesus. My goal is to create art that not only looks beautiful, but also speaks life and light into people’s homes and hearts.
What made you want to do this work?
I started Allforjesusart as a way to share my gift, to encourage and bless others. At first, I painted just for my family, and we would hang the paintings on our walls. They would always encourage me by saying, “You should start selling your art!” Over time, I realized that God was calling me to use my creativity to minister to others.
What problem did you want to solve with the business?
The heart behind Allforjesusart is to bring encouragement through Scripture-based artwork. In a world that can often feel heavy and discouraging, I wanted to create art that reminds people of the hope and peace that we have in God. Whether that’s through a Bible verse, a peaceful landscape, or a thoughtful card for a special occasion.
Who are your clientele/demographics?
My clientele is primarily women, many of whom are Christians, though my work is open and welcoming to anyone who appreciates meaningful, encouraging art. Many of my customers are people looking for thoughtful gifts or reminders of hope and faith.
How does your business make money? How does it work?
I sell my artwork at local markets and through direct sales. Each piece is either hand-painted or professionally printed from my original paintings. I personally and thoughtfully package each order, and arrange delivery or meet customers locally.
Where in the city can we find your profession?
You can find Allforjesusart at local markets throughout Calgary and the surrounding area during the year. Having a permanent location is something I hope to pursue in the future!

What is the best question a prospective customer could ask a member of your profession when comparing services? Give the answer as well.
Question: What makes you unique from other artists or small businesses in Calgary?
Allforjesusart is more than just a small business; it’s a calling and a ministry. Every piece I create is made with intention and a desire to glorify God. My artwork isn’t just decorative; it’s meant to encourage, uplift, and remind people of Jesus’ love. That purpose and heart behind the art is what truly sets my work apart.
What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?
Best part: Meeting people at markets and connecting with customers. Seeing their reactions, smiles, and excitement over my artwork is incredibly encouraging. Knowing that my art brings encouragement, hope, and light into someone’s life is the greatest joy.
Worst part: The behind-the-scenes work, especially preparing for markets last-minute, late nights, and running on very little sleep.
What is your favourite joke about your own profession?
“Being an artist means saying, ‘I’ll stop after this one,’ and then painting for three more hours.” This one is definitely me! Once I start working on something, it’s hard to stop.
Where can we follow you?
You can follow Allforjesusart on Instagram and Facebook, and find my work on Etsy as well.
