How would you describe your comedy style?

I would describe my style as a hybrid of rapid-fire, packed with jokes that range from delightful to dark, to dirty, to dad-worthy (sometimes all at once).

Who are some of your influences?

I didn’t really have any influence. I just always loved the craft of a joke, and when I was old enough, I wanted to give it a try.

Who was your favourite comedian growing up?

I don’t think I had a favourite comedian growing up. I remember the very first comedy special I saw that made me laugh and quote jokes was ‘Delirious’ from Eddie Murphy.

Who is your favourite comedian now?

I have a few favourite comedians now, my top pick though is Kyle Kinane. I enjoy his style, wording and ability to paint the picture so intricately with his words.

What is your pre-show ritual?

My pre-show ritual lately has been just trying to be in the moment, regardless of the setting or the turnout. Just to remind myself that this is something I enjoy doing, and nothing lasts forever, so try to enjoy what comes now.

What is your favourite place you have performed? Why?

Favourite place I performed, I would have to say Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium, just because it was the largest audience I’ve ever performed for, and it was such a rush to be able to feel that energy.

What is your favourite bit you have written and why were you proud of it?

Thinking of my favourite bit is challenging because I feel like it hasn’t been written yet. My favourite type of bits, though, are the ones that build and build until you reach a laughter crescendo. Those I haven’t been able to master just yet. But definitely a goal of mine.

What is your favourite medium for listening or finding new comics/comedians?

I think my favourite way of finding new comics is seeing them live. I do like seeing clips on TikTok and Instagram, but nothing beats seeing them live, just by checking out comedy shows in town or checking out the scene of the city you are visiting.

Do you have anything to promote right now?

I’m currently touring all over Canada. So look for me in Ontario in April, Newfoundland in May, BC in June, Edmonton Fringe Festival in August.
