Favourite musician growing up:
So many good ones to choose from, but some that really stuck with me were Paramore, Lil Peep, Xxxtentacion, Juice WRLD
Favourite musician now:
Hard to pick just one, so as of right now it’s probably MGK, Ekkstacy, The Kid LAROI, and iann Dior
Guilty pleasure song:
My guilty pleasure song right now is probably “No Broke Boys” by Disco Lines
Live show ritual:
I like to be surrounded by my close friends and girlfriend prior to going on stage, I like to have a quiet space where I can prepare and zone in, I also like to have a tea before every show to ease my nerves and relax my voice
Favourite local musician:
This is a very hard question because there are so many amazing local artists in Calgary and central Alberta, but a couple of my personal favourites are my friend/mentor Kam Prada, my close friend Amethyst, and my amazing artist friends from Camp Studio!
EP or LP?
I prefer EP’s because I find you can get the same feel as an album but in a much smaller scale, which is easier to push out to a broad audience, with albums they can get very expensive and time-consuming, especially when you have a specific story/image you’re going for for that particular project. I find I can make multiple EP’s in the same time I would spend to make one full length album, so I definitely prefer the smaller projects personally.
Early bird or night owl?
Most definitely a night owl! The nighttime is where I come alive, and the creative parts of me shine the most. Especially working a full-time job that takes up my days, the nighttime is when I’m able to create and be in my zone.
Road or studio?
Right now, I prefer the studio while I’m still finding new sounds and perfecting my craft, but I would absolutely love to tour and be on the road. My biggest goal for the new year is to do a ton of shows and push for a tour eventually!
Any shows or albums coming up?
Right now, I don’t have any shows in the works, but I just released a brand new single called “Growing Pains,” which is a deep dive into my struggles growing up and what it’s like now that I’m older, which I find is very relatable to many people.
