Observational, usually picking on society and its many hypocrisies, along with anecdotal stories of life experiences
Who are some of your influences?
George Carline, Steve Martin, Bob Newhart. I used to sign out their albums at the library when I was a teen.
Who was your favourite comedian growing up?
George Carlin. First saw him as the Hippy Dippy Weatherman on the Flip Wilson show.
Who is your favourite comedian now?
Too many to list, but have always loved the comedy of Canadian comic Derek Edwards
What is your pre-show ritual?
I review comedy notes, sometimes listen to previous shows and do a self-affirmation speech in the mirror.
What is your favourite place you have performed? Why?
Melbourne Australia. Some of the most comedy-savvy crowds I have seen. I had people who came to see me several times when there. Calgary is a close second for my fave place to perform.
What is your favourite bit you have written and why were you proud of it?
One of the oldest bits, and one I have rewritten a few times. I talk about margarine and my dislike of it, and conclude margarine only exists so poor people could have Tupperware too.

Tell us a joke about your city.
I don’t actually make jokes about my city, but every snowstorm I do take a poke at the bad drivers and thank them for marking the slippery roads by parking in the ditches.
