Founded in Calgary, AB in 2020, Prisoner’s music is rooted in classic/hard rock, heavy metal, and blues. Influenced by all styles of rock and metal, their classic roots combine with a modern style to create a congruent take on modern rock music.

What is your favourite local restaurant?
Sugar Marmalade. Though more of a desert place, it has a great atmosphere.
What is your favourite street in your city and why?
I love Memorial Drive because of its incredibly scenic views of the city, the Bow River, and the iconic Calgarian landmarks.
What is your favourite park in your city and why?
I love Fish Creek Park because of its wide range of foliage and greenery. As well as my own nostalgia because it is where I spent so many summers as a kid.
What is your favourite music venue in your city?
My favourite has to be The King Edward (King Eddy) because I attended my first couple of live shows with my parents and eventually my close friends.
What is your favourite music store in your city?
It is hands down the Long and Mcquade on 58th Street SW. The kind and helpful staff that has been there my entire musical life are friendly faces that I wholeheartedly trust.
