“Five Minutes With” Canadian Alternative-Pop Artist Selci

Selci is a Canadian singer and producer who blends minimal electronics and euphoric house with art-pop and dreamy vocals.

She released her A SOFT PLACE EP earlier this year. The project was conceived as a secret hideaway and balm to the outside world with dreamy atmospheric tones that conjure different manifestations of femininity, softness, and tranquility.

The EP features a number of collaborators, including production from Kevin Choo (aka Catfish the Wizard) and Vancouver-based beatsmith Neighbour, along with appearances by keyboardist Timothonius, rapper ZHE the Free, and Toronto-based artist Seyblu.

Get to know Selci and check out her latest video for “Live Your Light” below. And stay tuned for Selci’s companion zine to the EP, also called A SOFT PLACE, that is set for release in late 2020.
