Jack Trades is a Canadian producer/DJ based in Calgary, Canada. His passion for music led him to begin DJing and experimenting with music production, eventually leading to his enrollment in a course at Point Blank London. After graduating from the Music Production, Engineering and Songwriting program, Trades found inspiration in the new wave of deep house, future house, and pop music. In 2017 he launched his artist career as Jack Trades and quickly carved out his niche with a deep house-infused dance-pop sound with his debut singles released on Blackhole Recordings.
Soon after, Trades received his dance radio debut on Liquid Todd’s #Betabpm show on SiriusXM with a remix for a track on Perfect Havoc(Label). Trades music has since found placements on notable Spotify playlists like New Music Friday, Friday Cratediggers, Dance Rising, Fresh Electronic, Mint Canada, Fresh Finds and radio play on Sirius XM BPM, iHeartRadio’s Evolution, Pitbull’s Globalization Radio, Glow Radio,& Dash Radio as well as coverage on notable music blogs including YourEDM, Dancing Astronaut and EDM Sauce.
Building on this momentum and success he remixed artists such as Dropout, Adam K & Soha, Shaun Frank, Feenixpawl, Dropgun & Late Night Alumni. The DJ community has been very supportive with additions to the playlists and radio shows of artists like Tiesto, Kaskade, Afrojack, Mike Williams, Oliver Heldens, Myon, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Don Diablo, MAK J, Luke Bond, Lucas & Steve and many more.
His biggest record to date – “Kill Me Slowly” was #1 on Evolution (iHeart Radio), tastemaker support and has millions of streams on all platforms.

Definitely an Early bird and surprising a night owl too, always end up staying past midnight but up at 7 am latest every day 🙂
Road or studio?
The road for sure, playing shows live is a high and that inspires me to go back and write more in the Studio

I am promoting my EP Discovery, which is very dance-centric and you can listen to the songs in a club/radio. That being said, most excited about my first ever Country Remix for Jess Moskaluke’s Cheap Wine & Cigarettes
