Aquateal the dog needs a new home in the Calgary area

Named for her brilliant blue eyes (are they aqua or teal?) this lovely young lady came into our care after her owner was unable to keep her. Aquateal loves affection and treats and is making great progress at skills like walking nicely on leash and sitting calmly to have her photo taken. This cutie has previously lived with preschool and school aged children and was described as friendly and cuddly around them. Her previous caregivers said she is crate trained, house trained and always up for an adventure. Aquateal may do well with a confident cat (she likes to chase, but has so far respected tell offs) or a dog buddy! Come get some cuddles from this beautiful lady, and learn whether she might be the right pup for your home!

A bit about Aquateal:
– previously lived with children 4-12 years for a short period; all interactions should be supervised
– previously lived with a cat; some prey drive observed; introductions should be slow and supervised over multiple sessions
– dogs okay pending successful introduction; history of resource guarding from dogs
