Jeremy Pollock is an absolute weapon in the world of production. He is a storyteller, filmmaker, VFX overseer/wizard, Shooter, Editor, the list goes on.
It all started back in high school, when he realized that pointing a camera at his friends was far more fun than algebra and that telling stories was his passion.
This led him to a 3D animation degree and a burgeoning career bringing imaginary worlds to life on a variety of animated productions.
Moving beyond just the pixels, Jeremy’s skillset quickly began to include cinematography, editing, directing, producing… turning him into a swiss army knife of production. He began Dreadnaught Digital, his successful production house, and is now approaching 20 years doing his craft… An asset on any team with projects taking him around the globe. He’s evolved into a live-action filmmaker and documentary storyteller with projects showing heart, humour, and a distinctly Canadian dose of humility. Equal parts artist, technician, and project manager, his favourite projects are the ones that remind people why they love stories in the first place… finding that connection through visual art and being part of something that’s sum is greater than its parts.

Which ’hood are you in?
I’m in Airdrie, Alberta—a suburb of Calgary.
What do you do?
I typically wake up later than I should, and procrastinate on numerous things of varying importance until the very last minute. When I’m not doing that, I make movies.
What are you currently working on?
I just got back from a true crime shoot in Kansas City. I’m also working on a doc about a much beloved pub in Calgary. And a UFO doc mini series. I’m in the writing stage on a few dramatic features as well. All of this is really interfering with the procrastination I was mentioning earlier.
Where can we find your work?
We’ve got a feature UFO doc that should be coming out soon. We’re also looking at distribution on my Léo Major doc. I’ve got a very old website, but the most recent stuff will be on Instagram.
