Meet Balu, a Mastiff x Rottweiler mix with a heart as big as his paws! This social, playful boy loves a good game of tug or wrestling session but knows how to dial it down and be gentle around children-he’s proven to be very mindful and demure around the little ones.
Balu previously lived alongside horses, cats, and dogs and was said to do wonderfully with them. While he can be a bit nervous around strangers, especially men, he’s quick to warm up with a little patience and a few tasty treats.
Balu is looking for an active, loving home where he can get plenty of playtime, attention, and social interaction. It’s also important to help him stay at a healthy weight, as extra pounds can put strain on a big boy like him and lead to health concerns.
