Recipe for Sesame Noodles by Mazola

Sesame Noodles

4 to 6 Servings | 20 Minutes | Beginner

Ingredients:

  • 300g uncooked wheat noodles
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Mazola Canola Oil
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp sriracha
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 cup thinly-sliced green onions

Directions:

  1. Cook noodles al dente according to package instructions in a large pot of salted water. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, ground ginger, sriracha, garlic powder and black pepper until combined.
  3. Meanwhile, add the sesame seeds to a pan on medium heat and toast lightly. Add oil and reduce heat to low. Allow oil to infuse for 10 minutes.
  4. Increase heat to medium. Add sauce mixture to the sesame oil pan, with noodles and green onions. Toss to coat, and cook another minute or two until hot.
  5. Serve with an extra sprinkle of sesame, if desired.
