Meet Dakota! This striking Belgian Malinois mix is an older puppy with brains, energy, and a whole lot of potential. Found as a stray, Dakota is now looking for a home that can keep up with his sharp mind and active body- and show him just how fulfilling life as a beloved companion can be.
Like many Malinois, Dakota is clever, driven, and always up for a challenge. He’s incredibly food-motivated and eager to learn, which makes him a fantastic candidate for positive reinforcement training. He’ll thrive in a home that can offer consistency, structure, and lots of enrichment, not just physical exercise, but mental stimulation too.
Breed-specific enrichment ideas like nose work, puzzle feeders, scent games, trick training, agility, or even learning basic working dog tasks will help keep Dakota happy and well-balanced. Without an outlet for his energy and intelligence, he may invent his own (less ideal!) ways to stay busy.
Dakota will need a family committed to helping him become the best version of himself- patient, proactive, and excited to build a strong bond through training and shared adventures. With your guidance, he’s sure to grow into a loyal, well-mannered, and pupstanding citizen!
