Meet Abner, a resilient and loving Pittie who’s ready to leave his tough past behind and embrace a brighter future. Despite a rough start to life, Abner’s spirit remains unbroken, and his affectionate nature shines through. This sweet boy is eager to find a forever home where he can experience the love and security he’s always deserved. With his gentle demeanour and boundless capacity for gratitude, Abner is looking for a compassionate family who can offer him the patience and care he needs to flourish. Abner’s Foster Family told us the following about Abner: He’s a dog that loves to be outdoors he makes a great hiking buddy and enjoys all there is on his travels. He loves to be in the water whether it’s a lake with his humans or a small river trying to rescue all the branches he sees in the water. He loves a ride in car. He doesn’t care for personal space he loves to jump up in the middle of sofa for a snuggle. He is also on commands such sit, lay down, jump and give the paw. He’s even house trained. If you’re prepared to welcome a loyal and devoted companion into your life, Abner is ready to bring joy and unconditional love into your home.
