My business is called Papusha Fitness. Our mission is to enhance people’s lives by promoting happiness and enjoyment through exercise and balanced nutrition.
What made you want to do this work?
After experiencing the benefits of a healthy lifestyle firsthand, I decided to help others incorporate fitness into their lives and enjoy all the rewards it brings.
What problem did you want to solve with the business?
I wanted to offer a high-quality experience in personal training and demonstrate to people that improving their fitness doesn’t require a lot of effort. Who are your clientele/demographics? I work with a wide range of clients, but after over 5 years in the industry, I primarily focus on individuals who are 30+ years old and are looking to feel and perform their best in their daily lives.
How does your business make money? How does it work?
My business generates revenue by working with clients through in-person sessions, as well as virtual and online training. Where in the city can we find your profession? My physical location is in the North West (Panorama Hills), but we also offer mobile training in the comfort of your own home or gym, as well as virtual training.”
What is the best question a prospective customer could ask a member of your profession when comparing services? Give the answer as well.
Question: “Can you show examples of long-term results and how your clients have maintained them?”
Answer: “It’s important not just to achieve results but to sustain them over time. I always encourage prospective clients to ask for evidence of how a trainer has helped others maintain their progress long-term. This demonstrates not just the ability to deliver results, but to ensure those results last.”
What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?
Best Part: The best part about what I do is that it’s my dream job. I genuinely enjoy helping people transform their lives for the better and seeing them achieve their goals. The fulfilment I get from making a positive impact is truly rewarding.
Worst Part: While I don’t have a specific worst part, every job comes with its challenges. Sometimes it can be tough to manage differing client expectations and motivations, but overcoming these challenges is part of what makes the work rewarding.
What is your favourite joke about your own profession?
My favourite joke is that personal trainers bring a food scale with them everywhere they go. It’s not true, or at least not entirely true, haha.
