What is your business called and what does it do?
Kent of Inglewood. We help you get dirty & get clean with handmade outdoor gear, classic shaving supplies, and high-quality self-care products.
What made you want to do this work?
I fell in love with straight razor shaving over a decade ago, and that led to an obsession with doing things better. Better quality tools, better skincare. Paired with my love of the outdoors, it just made sense!
What problem did you want to solve with the business?
We help people enjoy their day-to-day. Whether it’s self-care, splitting firewood, or just opening a cardboard box, we help them have the right tools for the job.
Who are your clientele/demographics?
Our demographic is quite wide. Really, anyone who wants to take better care of themselves.
How does your business make money? How does it work?
It all comes down to customer service. Our staff are super knowledgeable and take really great care of everyone who comes in the door. Paired with undeniably great products, folks just keep coming back!

What sets you apart from other retailers with the same products? The difference is that we can coach you through learning a new way to shave, care for your beard, or chop wood. Our staff use our products and can help you get the very best experience with personalized advice and in-store classes.
What is the best part about what you do? What is the worst part?
My favourite part is getting to work with great coworkers and customers, and handle really cool products all day. The worst part is the really cool products, because I want to own them all!
What is your favourite joke about your own profession?
Folks always ask if they can shave with the axes on our walls. They’re sharp enough that you probably could!
