“A Day in the Life” with Calgary Visual Artist Diana T

Diana T is an incredible artist who possesses a unique ability to see life, colour, and whimsy in everything around her. With a soul bursting with creativity, she found solace and inspiration in the world of paper and mixed media during her challenging journey alongside her son’s battle with cancer and her own path of grief. Diana pours her heart and soul into her artwork, infusing each piece with a deep love that can be felt by anyone who encounters her creations. Her artistic style has evolved over the years, now encompassing elements of nostalgia, warmth, vulnerability, and love. She fearlessly combines various mediums such as paper, markers, coloured pencils, paint, and even glitter, resulting in captivating and multidimensional works of art. When you gaze upon Diana’s art, you can’t help but be transported into a realm of imagination and inspiration. What began as a response to deep loss and grief has blossomed into a manifestation of pure and honest love. Through her art, Diana invites others to explore their own emotions and find solace in the beauty that can be found amidst life’s challenges. Her ability to capture the essence of love, both in its purest form and in the face of adversity, is truly remarkable. Diana’s artistic journey continues to evolve, as she seeks to touch the hearts and souls of those who encounter her work. With each stroke of her brush and placement of paper, she invites us to embrace the magic and wonder that can be found in every moment of life. Diana’s art is a testament to the transformative power of creativity, reminding us all to find beauty and joy even in the most difficult of circumstances.
