Eau Claire Distillery holds the distinction of being Alberta’s first-ever craft distillery. Eau Claire prides themselves on being a farm-to-glass establishment that hand-crafts the artisanal spirits they distill. They embrace the wild history of the Turner Valley, where locals set up stills and speakeasies when Prohibition reigned, and infamous names like Al Capone and Sam Bronfman roamed the local ranches. They even offer guests the chance to take part in the Prohibition Experience that includes a tour, tasting, and local history. We spoke with David Farran, President and Founder of Eau Claire Distillery, to learn more.
