Meet Jet, a handsome Shepherd mix who arrived at the shelter through no fault of his own and is now ready to find a forever family who will help him shine. At heart, Jet is a sweet, eager boy who just hasn’t had as much practice as other dogs being out and about in the world. Because of this, he’ll thrive in a home that can take things at his pace, offering gentle encouragement, patience, and lots of positive reinforcement as he builds confidence, discovers how wonderful life can be, and becomes a pupstanding citizen of the world!
In his previous home, Jet lived with children and may enjoy being around them again. He also lived with another dog and got along very well-except at mealtimes. Jet prefers to keep his food to himself, so feeding him separately will ensure everyone stays happy and stress-free.
Jet has also shown signs of a strong prey drive, so he’ll need a home without small animals and may do best without cats. With a little guidance and structure, Jet is sure to grow into a loyal, loving companion who will reward his new family with affection, devotion, and plenty of tail wags.
