Nervous Nettle is a sweet girl who isn’t enjoying her time in the shelter. With all of the noises and other dogs around, it’s hard for her to find the time to relax! While she was reported to do well with people by her previous owner, Nettle has been very shy with new people, so would love a family that is willing to go slow, can understand her body language cues, and can offer extra patience as she adjusts to her new life. Luckily, she’s a food-motivated lady and it certainly helps her warm up! You’ll know that you’ve gained her trust when she places her paws in your lap for pets and offers you gentle kisses. Nettle is quite an active girl and would love the opportunity for plenty of exercise and enrichment! Nettle experiences stress around most other dogs and is happiest being the only dog in your life, so we are looking for a home with no other dogs for her. She has briefly lived with a preschooler and was tolerant, so may do well with your kids. If you think you have the right home for Nettle, then come visit her today!
**Nettle is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**
