Hogarth the dog needs a new home in the Calgary area

Because of his rough start to life, Hogarth is a big scaredy cat who hides a heart of gold! New places, people, and even unknown items are frightening to him so he’s hoping to find a patient, calm family that has a strong understanding of dog body language and are willing to help him gain the confidence he needs to lead a normal doggy life. Although it takes him some time to warm up to strangers, once you’ve gained Hogarth’s trust, you’ll be amazed at how loyal this boy can be! If you’re not meeting his affection quota, he may even paw at you for more head and chest pets! Just be mindful that he can get mouthy if he’s over-excited or nervous! It will be important to ensure that regular walks, enrichment activities, and training are all a regular part of his routine as he is an energetic boy. Luckily, Hogarth is also very food-motivated and eager to learn so that he can get more tasty treats! Come (quietly) say hello to Hogarth today and see if he is the right fit for your home!
