Bruno the dog needs a new home in the Calgary area

Meet Bruno! Doesn’t he have the happiest face you’ve ever seen? He loves to meet new people with a wiggly body and wagging tail. He’s also very smart, food-motivated and eager to learn. However, Bruno has a lot of discomfort with unexpected or invasive handling, particularly around his head. In shelter, we have worked hard with Bruno on cooperative care – meaning Bruno has learned to be an active participant in getting a vet exam, or putting his leash on. To keep Bruno safe and healthy, his new family will need to commit to continuing to work with Bruno on these skills. Bruno has previously lived with teenagers and may do well with older kids. We recommend that all kids in the home be able to read, understand and respect Bruno’s body language. To help Bruno thrive in his new home, you’ll receive three free training consults to attend together! If you are the family that can bring out Bruno’s confident side and give him all the love he deserves, then reach out today!

* Bruno will receive three free post-adoption consults with CHS’s behaviour team!
