Say hello to Boopy! Despite his age, shy little Boopy has already had quite a ruff start to life. This sweet pup is looking for a calm, gentle home where patience and understanding are part of the daily routine. He may be nervous at first, but with time, treats, and kindness, Boopy is sure to bloom into the goofy, affectionate boy he is deep down.
Boopy missed out on some of the typical puppy socialization early in life, so he’s still learning the ropes and would appreciate some support while doing so. Things like walking confidently on a leash, playing with toys, and even snuggling on the couch are all skills he’s still working on. He’s shown he can learn quickly when given space and reassurance. Once he’d comfortable, you will see his curious, bouncy side shine through (with a dash of classic beagle mischief!)
He does struggle to be left alone and because of his sensitive nature, he’d thrive in a quieter home where his people are around often and are committed to continuing his training with positive reinforcement! He has experience living with another dog and may enjoy having a buddy in his new home after a slow introduction.
