Meet Aquila! She says it’s good to see ya. This sweet middle-aged pittie lady is seeking a family that enjoys the same things as her – relaxed walks, snuggles on the couch, snoozing in the sun, and food. As you might be able to tell from her picture, Miss Aquila is a bit of a foodie who, unfortunately, needs to lose some weight. Not only does she enjoy her kibble, but she’s also happy to try fruits and veggies as a snack. Aquila is very shy with new people, but she has lived with children before and will probably do well in any home that can give her some space until she trusts you and wants to go in for all the cuddles. Aquila’s foster family described her as intelligent (she’ll do anything for kibble), perfectly house trained, and very sweet. She does have arthritis, and can be uncomfortable with her paws being touched because of that, but she is otherwise a healthy middle-aged lady ready to find her people!
