A mentor, inspiration and friend, Katherine Burrowes, is a colleague at Youth Singers and one of the co-founders of the Calgary dance company IllFX. They invited me to dance with them at a corporate event where we had a custom built stage, amazing costumes, live band, and a number of additional special acts throughout the night. As a dancer, it doesn’t get much better! The two-month rehearsal process leading up to the show was like a training bootcamp and I loved every minute of it!
