L.C. Cariou
This is my latest painting that I just finished, Agave Parryi (2025), this painting captures the luminescence of an Agave Parryi, Artichoke Agave plant, in Edmonton’s Muttart Conservatory. It highlights the plants unique waxy blue-green leaves that are each lined with deep plum, and the permanent imprints of the leaves on each other as they unfurl from themselves.
